Class description
This course is suitable for beginners and advanced users. It's always a matter of getting familiar with the sound first. The connection between earth and people is perceived very intensively and flows into your creativity. You learn to make vessels that are inspired by Japanese and fire combines all elements of the earth in your vessel.
I am very much looking forward to your participation and to introducing you to ceramic art.
How does this activity work?
In this course of approx. 4-5 hours, you will make 2 different vessels using different construction techniques. A tea or cereal bowl and a flower vase, approx. 20 cm high. If you like, and when the weather is good, you can look for a quiet spot in the large garden. And when we have the time and desire, we order sushi (not included in the price) and talk about our experiences.
I then take over:
Drying and firing processes: Scrubbing and glaze firing & glazing the vessel.
Your works can be picked up by appointment or shipped for an additional charge.
