In these 2 hours, you'll discover the capital from a completely new perspective — through the eyes of writers, artists and activists. On the tour, you will learn what terms such as tags, styles, charries, chrome bombings, roll-ups or rooftops mean and where you can find them in urban spaces — from bridges to garage doors to soundproof walls.
In doing so, we address the question: What is legal graffiti art, what is contract work — and where does vandalism begin? You will gain exciting insights into the history of style writing, the development of the graffiti scene and the socio-political significance of Halls of Fame — legal spaces that are often more than just walls. With a live comparison of legal and illegal works directly on site, you will sharpen your eye for the differences and learn why graffiti is much more than just “doodling.”
