About this class
Discover the art of living portraits — whether with a smartphone or camera. The focus is on the essentials: interaction with the model, optimal use of natural light and the art of capturing authentic emotions.
You will learn how to stage people, which poses look natural and how to create expressive portraits through clever lighting. We work with natural light and experiment with different lighting situations — from soft window light to dramatic back light.
The special thing: In this workshop, you are not only a photographer, but also a model. You experience both sides of the camera and take home valuable experience - as well as a selection of professionally photographed portraits of yourself.

Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is for all people who enjoy meeting others. You don't have to have any previous knowledge — just your enthusiasm for people and your desire to capture them in authentic pictures. It doesn't matter whether you shoot with the latest smartphone or an SLR camera. What is decisive is your openness to getting involved with both sides of the camera and being creative together with other people.
