About this class
In this ceramic workshop, we design vases — but not in the classical sense. Instead of making utility ceramics, we use the vase as a starting point for free, artistic work. Assembly or plate technology is used to create independent objects that can break away from familiar shapes step by step. Over the two days, we will learn about various design options — from handcuffs to relief to applying paint with engobe. What you have learned is directly incorporated into individual work on your own vase. This is how a very personal object gradually grows — experimentally, playfully and without functional constraints.
