About this class
In this hands-on embroidery workshop, you’ll dive into the world of miniature floral motifs by stitching five tiny flowers inspired by real blooms: Edelweiss, Linden Flower, Cornflower, Forget-Me-Not, and Crocus. The focus is on learning core hand embroidery techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment. We’ll go step by step, starting from the basics and building confidence as we progress. By the end, you’ll have completed a set of delicate, colorful blossoms — and even turned one into a wearable wooden pendant. Along the way, you’ll gain practical embroidery skills, explore creative expression, and enjoy the therapeutic rhythm of stitching.

What you’ll do in the class
The workshop begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the materials and tools. Then we go over how to transfer the design onto the fabric and start stitching each of the five flower designs. We usually manage to complete four flowers during the session, while the fifth can be finished comfortably at home with the included kit and the help of a detailed online embroidery guide (PDF). Throughout the session, participants are encouraged to go at their own pace — the atmosphere is calm, with breaks for tea, coffee, and snacks, and plenty of one-on-one guidance if needed.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is perfect for beginners — no prior experience is needed. It’s ideal for anyone interested in learning hand embroidery in a relaxed and supportive environment. The class is taught in English, with explanations also available in Spanish if needed.
