About this class
In this workshop, we'll give you a brief introduction to Doodles and Zentangles. They are recurring patterns or figures that are drawn with a black fineliner. Objects unfold from patterns, optical illusions or simply beautiful patterns.
By repeating the pattern, the body quickly comes into a relaxed state. Wonderful designs are created all by themselves, without “right or wrong.” Our focus is on the flow of drawing, as a mindful exercise. Short breathing exercises support your sense of calm.
If you want, you can add shadows and light sources to your image or color it in color.
What you’ll do in the class
After you park right in front of our entrance, you will enter the inviting lobby. Here you can safely park your jacket and shoes before heading on to the creative room. Imagine an old, cozy building - truly a listed building! - with chandelier and baroque chairs in front. The perfect environment for creative hours!
The course instructor gives you a brief introduction and presents all materials, tools and techniques.
The course instructor will give you lots of inspiration and ideas over the course of the workshop. But you are free to follow your imagination and individually design your work of art. There are no “guidelines.”
For a break in between, you can enjoy a few rays of sunshine on our terrace with a panoramic view.
After a short round of feedback, you pack up your own work of art so that you can proudly present it at home.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is ideal for anyone who likes to be creative and wants to relax while doing it — whether you're a beginner or advanced. Children are welcome to participate from the age of 12.
