"Dein Ding" - Digital Textile Design with the Vinyl Cutter

Design a shirt or textile of your choice with your own hand-drawn motif and digitize it for the vinyl cutter using colorful foils!

In the "Dein Ding" workshop, you have the freedom to either create a hand-drawn image or use your own digital design if you already have experience in digital designing. Feel free to bring your own garment or purchase a shirt or cotton bag on-site.

What to expect in this workshop?

1. Introduction and process of digital textile design with the vinyl cutter.
2. Create your own design: Unleash your creative side! You can choose to draw on paper or use your own digital design, which you can create on your own laptop that you bring along.
3. Digitizing your design: If you already have experience with digital design, you can now edit your design and prepare it for plotting. If not, I will assist you with the next steps and show you how it works!
4. Plotting with colorful foils: Regardless of whether you chose a hand-drawn or digital design, your artwork will now be cut out from colorful foils using the plotter. You can choose from a variety of colors and let your creativity run wild.
5. Customize your garment: Once your design is plotted, you have the opportunity to finalize your chosen garment, be it a T-shirt or a cotton bag. You can apply your design yourself and create your unique, individual piece of clothing.
