Cupcake decorating course — conjure up flowers with a piping bag
This lovingly designed course is all about the art of buttercream flowers. Step by step, you will learn how to create beautiful flowers on cupcakes with various piping nozzles.
This is what you can expect:
Working with the pastry bag
Handling and pressure control
Overview of different grommets (star, flower, leaf grommets)
Splash clean lines and even petals
Combining multiple flowers into one arrangement
What you’ll do in the class
Practice techniques with foil & piping bags
Before you start the cupcakes, you first practice various techniques on foil or exercise materials.
In doing so, you will learn:
How to use the piping bag correctly
Pressure control and hand position
Working with various grommets
First flower and leaf techniques
This gives you security before you work on the cupcake.
Fill cupcake
The cupcake is then prepared:
The cupcake is filled as desired (e.g. with cream or fruit filling).
You will learn how to fill cleanly and evenly.
Decorate with the techniques you have learned
Now comes the creative part
You decorate your cupcake using the techniques you have previously practiced:
roses, blossoms, or other flowers
Leaves and small details
Color combinations to suit your personal taste
Everyone creates their own little edible piece of art.
