Stamping and Creative Time Fun for Families
Join me for a creative, hands-on printing workshop for preschool kids (ages 3-6) and their parents!
I will introduce you to the printing basics in this fun and interactive session. We will draw on a thick foam sheet, which will be our stamp, and then use paint, rollers, and other tools to print/stamp our drawings onto paper. You can make whatever you like—the possibilities are endless, whether for postcards, decorative prints, or just for fun!
How does this activity work?
I will start by introducing the workshop. Then, we will continue with:
Ideas:
- What will the drawings be? You will have pencils, pens and paper to scribble some ideas.
- Guide children and parents with some already-made examples.
Create the Stamp:
- We will transfer our ideas onto a thick piece of foam, using a pencil to carve the drawing.
Stamping & Printing Fun:
- Demonstrate how to ink the stamp/foam sheet.
- Let kids and parents choose colours and ink their drawings.
- Print fun and Experiment! - we will print the drawings on paper and test different results and techniques.
Wrap up:
- Allow time to wrap up any final prints.
- Encourage kids to show off their designs and stamps to the group.
- Each participant takes home their stamps and the prints they’ve created.
- A brief recap of how to continue creating at home.
Who should definitely take part?
This creative and fun family workshop is for preschool kids (ages 3-6) and their parents. Each kid can be joined by one adult, for free!
It is perfect for everyone interested in creative manual work and learning new printing techniques in a relaxed environment. It is an ideal way to connect, create, and relax together—no previous experience is required!

What to bring?
You can bring:
- Ideas of the drawings you want to make (not mandatory - ideas will also be provided)
- An old T-shirt or an apron is needed to protect your good clothes from ink splatters.
What is included?
All materials and tools will be provided. As well as snacks and drinks (water and tea).
And in the end, everyone will take home:
- their stamps and printed samples
- new skills in manual printing techniques
- a fun and creative time spent together
