About this class
In our cocktail course at the Stoxx Bar, you will learn the basics of mixing: from classic recipes to modern creations to your own signature drinks. We'll show you how to use bar tools, give you exciting background information about spirits and reveal professional tricks. In a relaxed atmosphere, you will mix your own cocktails under guidance — perfect for beginners and anyone who wants to learn more about the world of drinks.
What you’ll do in the class
The cocktail course at the Stoxx Bar is roughly as follows:
- Welcome & Introduction
Participants are welcomed with a welcome drink. Afterwards, there is a brief introduction to the world of cocktails, spirits and bar tools. - Theory & Basics
We explain the most important techniques (e.g. shaking, stirring, muddling), the functions of bar utensils and the role of various ingredients in a drink. - Practical part
Under guidance, each participant mixes several cocktails — both classics such as Mojito or Whiskey Sour as well as their own creative creations. - Tasting & feedback
The mixed drinks are tasted together. There is feedback and tips for refinement. - Degree & certificate (optional) At
the end, there is a small quiz or a bar game. On request, we issue participation certificates.
The course lasts approximately 2—2.5 hours and takes place in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
