About this class

This year during Advent, a whole new workshop format full of creativity, valuable tips and inspiration awaits you. In the ball workshop, I'll show you how to turn simple Christmas tree balls into small works of art — lovingly painted, with festive floral motifs and perfect, both as an individual, personal gift and to enhance your own Christmas decoration.

What you’ll do in the class

Beautiful Christmas tree ornaments painted by hand with gouache — a completely new, exclusive workshop concept that I've never had before!
I've tried a lot and will show you my specially developed ball design technique, including all tips & tricks
Of course, we'll practice the florals extensively on paper beforehand and I'll show you how to get your brushstrokes to work.
You will receive two pre-primed balls from me, with which you can get started right away.
In addition, you can bring your own balls and upcycle with me
All colors and materials are included — all you need is your own brush set (e.g. using pen lobes).
The workshop takes place on a small scale with a maximum of 10 participants per appointment — for personal, high-quality support

Details to remember

What to bring to the class

Please bring your own brush, namely 1 x flat brush size 1, 1 x round brush size 2, 1 x angled brush size 4 and 1 x cat tongue brush size 8. A matching brush set is available, for example, from Stifteliebe.

2 glass balls prepared for you (primed several times), which you can paint and take home with you.
All required colors & materials (please just bring your own brush set, see material recommendation).
Step-by-step instructions, a lovingly designed workbook for you & individual support, tailored to your needs.
Small champagne reception, Christmas snacks & drinks, and a short break for refreshment.
Plenty of space for inspiration, exchange & creative get-togethers.
