About this class
I only use books that I found on the streets of Berlin and that no longer seem useful but form the starting point for a creative game with physical text. You read or look at an existing text and, without much thought, start to discover words that appeal to you - mark them with pencil and build them into a new sentence, a new poem. That's when the “wild” visualization begins and there are no limits to your imagination.
What you’ll do in the class
Arrive first and browse through old books or magazines. Then you start by reading or “scanning” the text and marking certain words. In the end, an old text playfully creates a new message, which we then visualize with various materials and turn it into a unique work of art
Who is the class suitable for?
Everyone is welcome and no previous knowledge is required - texts are available in German and English.
