Because the Autostadt — right at and with a view of the Wolfsburg VW plant — is worth a photo trip not only for car and technology fans. There is an exciting and always photogenic mix of technology (yes) and history with a landscape park and architecture. At every turn, there are many exciting details, interesting insights and views, lots of nice people... and therefore wonderful motifs: from old and new car technology to unusual (interior) architecture and insightful presentations of car cult and cult cars to street photography. In terms of subject and photo technology, there is certainly something for everyone on a trip to the Autostadt.
What you’ll do in the class
As always, I like to explain the basics of photography and how to use their camera to beginners... and advanced users can deepen their knowledge with small tasks and exercises in various directions. We're having fun anyway 🙂
Who is the class suitable for?
The trip to Autostadt is designed for beginners and beginners in digital photography who want to deepen their knowledge of camera operation and image design in a very practical way and with interesting motifs. In the Autostadt we will talk about
- manual and semi-automatic photography
- work with depth of field and proper focus
- See motives and implement ideas
- Practical image design (rule of thirds, perspectives, excerpts, foreground/background)
And because we have a pleasant amount of time on our tour, we also look intensively at the resulting photos from time to time: there are certainly helpful tips and suggestions that can then be tried out and implemented right away.
