Get to know stuarthojkum

Stuart, born in 1973 and self-taught, works unconsciously from the inside out after decades of conscious exterior reflection of her interior. The object gives way to energetic dynamics. The dull to colorful “Slag and Flow” cycle shows complex changes of energetic flow and slagged fractures, which are thus also transformed from Stuart's “system.”

Find words in the picture, too, because that's what your system requires. This reveals an unknown force. Uphills and descents of dullness such as the explosion of endless creative processes and surprising personal findings. This is how stuarthojkum is intoxicated today by the complex internal processes. After decades of isolated work, the North German painter breaks away from the repetition of eternally mirrored grief and pain in cycles such as: “Expressionism in Oil” and “Seeing Drawings.” Stuart is today more imprecise than ever with a hopeful outlook on creation processes that are constantly becoming more precise.
Stuart chose her stage name early — without Stuart knowing the meaning of the name in childhood (guardian, watchman). In the constant search for truth, which formal processes truly reflect about a state in unprecedented creation, Stuart's cycle “Slag and Flow” revealed elementary certainties that she could not know without an X-ray image and yet found official confirmation at a later stage. The increasingly sensitive clarification of their perception also promoted intensive contact with the elements earth, water, fire and air. The sound of these intrinsic primal forces forms the second part of their name: Hojcum. Since severe poisoning, Stuart's excess smells, countless chemical elements and emotional energies has been even more precise.
