Hi, I'm Steph from DIY

After more than 20 years in product design, I wanted to make creativity accessible: without pressure, without performance thinking, but with lots of fun. This is how Selbermacherei was born — a place where people try things out, learn new things and go home with a smile (and a homemade piece of art).

My mission: creativity for everyone.

I believe that everyone is creative — sometimes you just need the right framework to discover that. I offer exactly this framework: with well-thought-out concepts, beautiful materials, clear instructions and a dose of humor.

DIY

My studio is located in the heart of Hamburg-Hamm — retro in the premises of an old drugstore from the 50s. Depending on the workshop, up to 18 people can be accommodated here. Snacks, drinks, music and a relaxed atmosphere are a matter of course for me — after all, creativity should be fun!

DIY courses and events

Whether blind drawing, jewelry workshop, acrylic painting or seasonal DIY specials — I create creative experiences with heart. I value high-quality materials, clear instructions and plenty of room for individuality. All participants go home with a real sense of achievement and a finished work. One thing is always in the foreground: having fun doing it. No pressure, no “right or wrong” — just you, your project, and a bit of magic.

Just for you: team offers and private events

My workshops are also available exclusively for groups — from hen parties to birthdays to team events. What makes these events special? They connect people. Creating together creates conversations, laughs and real memories — completely without a tie or PowerPoint. I'll provide the creative concept, materials and the right setting, you'll just be in a good mood. The result: an event that will last a long time — in the best sense of the word.
