About us: We are Sebastian Faust and Marie Pooth — a creative duo that has turned their passion for audio formats and storytelling into their profession.

Sebastian is a composer, musician and sound artist. In addition to his own music projects, he composes for theatre productions and performances and shares his expertise as a music teacher. Marie is a theatre dramaturge with a focus on audio walks and also works as an author and speaker. She has already taught how to produce audio walks at the FU Berlin.

Together we have created the podcast “Instructions for falling asleep”, which runs weekly on Callshop Radio. 69 episodes have already been released and a live episode is currently successfully touring various festivals.

Our mission is to share our enthusiasm and know-how with everyone who wants to dive into the world of podcasting themselves and make their stories heard. We want to empower and inspire our participants to professionally implement their ideas and find an audience. In return, in our workshops, we offer a mix of professional guidance, creative space and the openness to go our own way and think in new ways - just as we have done ourselves with our podcast.

We believe in the magic of the spoken word and the intimacy of the podcast medium — and that everyone should have the opportunity to be a part of it. With our workshops, we want to continue the enthusiasm for podcasting and enrich the podcast landscape with many new voices.

Location: Our podcast workshop in Berlin Kreuzberg offers the perfect environment to work creatively and learn new skills in a relaxed atmosphere. The room consists of a cozy workshop area that can accommodate up to 6 people to work together on concepts, exchange ideas and try out the technology that we provide. The adjoining kitchen offers drinks, snacks and a coffee maker. For lunch breaks, there are numerous restaurants, snack bars or cafés in the immediate vicinity, which offer something for every taste.

Workshops:: Our podcast workshops are characterized by a high level of practical experience, personal coaching and a limited number of participants. In this way, we can address individual questions and needs in a targeted manner and create an intensive learning atmosphere. In addition to the technical content, we always focus on the fun of being creative and the joy of experimenting.

In our one-day basic workshop, participants get a compact overview of all areas of podcast production and learn the essential skills to get started themselves. This enables them to implement their podcast vision independently.

If you want to dive deeper and work more intensively on a project, our two-day intensive workshop is just the right thing for you. Here, participants can develop and produce their first podcast episode under guidance — from the idea to the finished recording. Individual preparations and work in small groups create very personal “podcast babies” with professional sound quality during the workshop.

Team events: More and more companies are also discovering corporate podcasts as an effective medium for getting in touch with their target groups, demonstrating expertise and positioning themselves as a brand. A podcast workshop is a creative way of training employees that also has team-building effects: Your employees learn in a practical way how to create appealing audio content that conveys your company story in an entertaining and informative way.
