SORRY, I ONLY DRINK HANDMADE .WINE

We are Ines and Lukas, actually two real village children who grew up in viticulture and agriculture. After studying wine, despite our love for the countryside, we ended up in the “big city” in Mainz. Since summer 2021, we have felt right at home and at the Draisberghof. One thing was already clear back then: This old vegetable farm needed a fresh start and lots of new ideas. After months of brainstorming, planning, bureaucracy, strained nerves and lots of patience, we finally came to the conclusion: Somehow our thoughts lead us back to - as you already know - the topic of natural wine. Perhaps it is the love of nature and craftsmanship, perhaps the incomparable taste, perhaps the little rebellion that goes into every bottle that fascinates us so much. In any case, we have made our dream of the first natural wine shop in Mainz a reality! The Draisberghof is now not only giving us a home, but also our small shop (which is also literally handmade, by the way). Here, we want to constantly develop ourselves and work on new ideas.

During our wine tasting at the handmade .wine shop in Mainz-Gonsenheim, you will get to know the fascinating world of natural wines with your rebellious young winemakers and experienced pioneers. Together, we taste four natural wines from all over Germany and thus get to grips with the topic. The sample is suitable for beginners as well as for natural wine professionals. In addition to the wines, there is plenty of water, bread, salt and olive oil to neutralize. If required, we also offer a shuttle service to the “Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena” S-Bahn station, which is also within walking distance. Discovered a new favorite wine? Of course, if you are interested, you can still secure a bottle or two for home after the rehearsal.
