Barbecue with the world champion!
Sascha Wolter has not only earned Michelin stars, he was also German champion in grilling and BBQ and he is currently even world champion in this area. He is absolutely passionate about food and is eager to share this passion with you. We offer courses at every level, from absolute beginners to professionals. Our courses are always interactive, certainly also very educational, but fun is always our top priority.
Experience BBQ at the highest level! Under the expert guidance of the reigning BBQ World Champion, you'll dive into the world of modern grilling. Learn directly from a professional how to combine flavors perfectly, masterfully control temperatures and use techniques that take your grilled dishes to a new level.
A variety of culinary highlights await you in our 4-5 hour courses: from creative vegetarian components to selected meat and fish dishes to a sophisticated grilled dessert. You will receive practical tips that are easy to implement in everyday life at home.
The Grisu is a converted old fire department, the location is stylish and classy, is timelessly furnished and has a large sun terrace for up to 100 guests. In the building itself, we also have a kitchen cooking class with space for up to 30 guests, a bar that also has space for 30 people and our main restaurant room for up to 60 guests.
We always coordinate courses individually with our customers. The courses are very popular:
- Basics - from perfect steak to grilled vegetables to juicy fish. After the course, you'll master the basics and can brag about what you've learned in front of your friends. There are also explanations of why you use which grill, tips and tricks on how to cook food on the grill.
- Vegan barbecue course - We show how incredibly diverse vegetables can be. We use recipes from all over the world.
- World champion barbecue course - here we dive deeper into the subject matter. We also use the smoker, more complex techniques, and prepare sauces and dips together. We also grill recipes that we used to grill the World Cup.
If necessary, we can combine this with a cocktail course or whiskey tasting, for example.
We also have the option of hosting your conference with us. We have beautiful rooms with lots of daylight including conference equipment such as beamers, WiFi, flip charts, etc. Talk to us, we have various packages for this.
