Irene Gravender geb. Wedenskaya studierte in den Jahren 1980 – 1986 Zeichnen, Malerei. Kalligrafie, Plastik, Illustration und Buchgestaltung an der Universität für Polygrafie und Buchgestaltung ( Diplom) in Moskau. Seit dem Jahr 1986 arbeitet sie als freischaffende Künstlerin, Bilderbuch- Illustratorin, private Kunstlehrerin.
