Achim Helbig has always had a great fascination for Great Britain. History, culture, language and yes... beer too. During countless trips through England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, he discovered the variety of beers that could be discovered there.

This is how the idea was born to bring this diversity to Germany. The BrauArt Düsseldorf shop at Volksgarten was moved into in December 2013 and has been steadily expanded from then on. It started with a manageable number of beers and ciders (cider). Over the years, this range has grown and since the beginning of 2021, the name has been changed to “BrauArt Düsseldorf”. Because German, Belgian, New Zealand, Canadian, Croatian and Italian beers can also be found among the approximately 50 breweries today. 300-350 different beers are waiting to be discovered. In addition to international beers, the largest selection of ciders in Düsseldorf can be found here. But you can also discover high-quality and sometimes exclusive whiskies, gins and rums.

Smaller events and tastings are regularly offered in the back rooms, which you can take part in. On request, you can also create your very own tasting, for example for bachelor parties, company parties or simply as a group of like-minded people. These can also take place online if you wish.
