About Me
I am Lucy. Self-taught artist. I've always tried a lot. After graduating from high school, I trained as an office administrator, then I studied German, English and DAZ/DaF as a teacher. In between, I spent a few weeks in England, embarked on a “work & travel” adventure in Australia for several months and worked in Brazil on a bilingual school project. After the state examination, I worked for some time as a teacher for the promotion of German and was employed in accounting activities until painting slowly crept back into my life. As with many creative adults, I had of course painted with great enthusiasm and worked creatively in childhood and adolescence, but then lost sight of it when the seriousness of life came knocking.
Last but not least, the pandemic has also helped me to reconsider my professional purpose in life and so I set myself to see what could happen if I would now give painting more space and time.
You are looking at the (interim) result right now. I have taken the plunge and am an independent small business owner and artist, with lots of ideas and a great desire to keep trying things out.
Art workshops that invite you to relax, discover and enjoy special moments.
I use the opportunity - to transform colors into feelings - in my art. I use them to express gentle and positive feelings. To create an opportunity to relax. To create a “safe space” where I can feel good and where you can feel good.
