What is the Zentangle Method?
“Tangling” is the drawing of various patterns and shapes, filling surfaces. There are fine filigree patterns, linear contrasting patterns, organic, floral and abstract. You draw with pencil and fineliner on so-called “tiles.” Square, round and triangular fine papers/cartons Zentangle's drawing is relaxing, motivating, you feel comfortable, can be pleasantly immersed in sample worlds and immerse yourself in.
Who is the workshop suitable for?
You don't need any previous drawing experience. If you have some previous creative drawing experience, it
can make it easier to get started and draw some patterns, but it's not necessary. Zentangle is suitable for everyone. For children, adolescents, adults, seniors.
Zentangle is not about evaluating the resulting works. Everything that is created is good, correct, valuable and beautiful. It is your Zentangle art!
How does the course work?
We start by tangling light patterns with black fineliner on white paper tiles. You will also learn how to shade and set light points with chalk pens. Later, we will also tangle in color on round tiles.
Beautiful dried flowers/blossoms, sealing wax and gold leaf can also be used.
