Class description

What is the course schedule in Walchow?

Here you will get a comprehensive insight into the processing and use of wild animals, even beyond meat. Together we disassemble a deer. All participants can do their own work under expert guidance.

First, we will knock the already broken deer out of the blanket (fur) and completely cut it into meat that is ready for cooking. Both survival and everyday techniques are explained, shown and tried out. We show and explain various techniques for properly removing the blanket, which make it possible to continue using the deer fur.

After the deer is completely disassembled, we show how the individual pieces of meat can be used and explain some traditional and modern ways of preserving them. Of course, we also prepare a meat meal together.
