About this Tour
The special wine hike in Rüdesheim combines wine tasting, nature experience and history — an unforgettable experience in the Rheingau.
You start with a glass of homemade secco in the Historical Music Cabinet, where there are already a few surprises for you. When you are equipped with your equipment, you're ready to go. Past the world-famous Drosselgasse to our cable car, which takes us towards the Niederwald.
Once there, the first wines await you to taste. And rest assured: Your glass will be happy to be refilled. We have more than just a small glass. Of course, we have exciting stories about the region, wine and viticulture — and a sensational view of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.
If you are hungry, there is a hearty snack at the Rebenhaus, with all sorts of goodies for you.
Finally, there's a snap — or a few if you still can.

Steps of the tour
Under the motto “Floating over the vines”, the wine hiking tour starts with a glass of Secco in Rüdesheim's old town in the music cabinet with a short presentation. Then take the cable car to Germania and enjoy the view. The wine tasting starts at Germania, followed by a snack in the vine house. The way back leads through the vineyards back to Rüdesheim. At the end, there is a snack.
