Discover Kraichgau from its most enjoyable side with your team or group — with “Klenerts Kraichgau Round”. The individual wine hike starts at the Klenert winery in Kraichtal-Münzesheim and, equipped with a cooling backpack, five selected wines, glasses and route flyers, takes you through a gentle hilly landscape with great views.
The varied route runs on well-signposted trails past vineyards, orchards and viewpoints. Along the way, you'll learn exciting things about regional viticulture, the sustainable philosophy of the winery — and with a bit of luck, you'll even meet the animal “employees” in the vines.
Enjoy Secco rosé, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Auxerrois and a red cuvée right where they grew. The tour is unguided, freely plannable and ideal for anyone who wants to share wine, nature and time together.
Steps of the tour
Arrival at Weingut Klenert: Group welcome and optional sparkling wine to get you in the mood for the day (on request, additional costs).
Equipment: You will receive your cooling backpack, stocked with carefully selected wines (0.75 l each), wine glasses and matching glass holders for all participants. You will also receive a clear route flyer with information about the route and a link to digital navigation via Komoot.
Start of the wine hike: The tour starts directly at the winery and takes about 7 km through varied landscapes. You can expect mostly asphalted hiking trails with an altitude difference of around 100 meters — easy to do, even for larger groups.
Pleasure with a view: Picturesque viewpoints over the rolling hills of Kraichgau await you along the route. Whether with a view of the vineyards, the valley or blooming meadows — this is a particularly good place to enjoy wine. Along the way, cozy benches and picnic areas invite you to relax — perfect for a relaxing break with glasses in hand and a vision in your head.
Everything at your own pace: You are completely free to take your time and stay in the beautiful places. After the hike, you can keep everything in the package.
