About this class
Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and discover the healing effects of forest bathing combined with an alpaca hike in the idyllic Eifel.
Forest bathing, originally known as “Shinrin Yoku” in Japan, means consciously immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the forest with all your senses. This reduces stress and increases well-being.
The alpacas and llamas that accompany us on this trip provide additional relaxation and joy with their gentle and calming nature.
Join us on a special trip that brings body and mind into harmony and experience nature in a whole new way.
Why in the woods? NATURE MAKES YOU HEALTHY!
In the forest, your immune system is strengthened by increasing the production of killer cells and increasing their activity. In addition, your hormonal system is positively influenced: Stress hormones such as norepinephrine, adrenaline and cortisol are reduced, while the feel-good hormone serotonin increases. These positive changes have been scientifically proven and come from research in Japanese forest medicine.
Why with alpacas & llamas?
Our alpacas and llamas promote deceleration through their calm and relaxed nature, which is transmitted to people. These gentle animals help us leave the stress of everyday life behind us, which fits perfectly with the concept of forest bathing.
