What can you expect at our tufting workshop?
An exciting and exciting DIY at every stage!
Tufting is a very entertaining form of textile art in which a motif is created by working the yarn into a fabric, almost like punch needles, except that a machine called a tufting gun is used in the workshop.
Tufting is very simple, stress-relieving, meditative and guarantees an unforgettable experience and fun for everyone. You'll get the hang of it quickly, I promise!
The Advanced Workshop:
Whether it's shapes, detailed patterns or individual ideas — we support you in realizing your personal project and creating a unique work of art according to your ideas. Please note that the design should also run out within the time frame. That is why we will discuss your desired theme at the workshop. If you're not sure, bring along several ideas.

What you’ll do in the class
Course of a workshop
Introduction: You will receive an introduction to technology and tools.
Design/theme discussion: We will discuss your desired design, which is best brought along on your mobile phone (also take alternative motifs with you to be sure)
Preparation: With the help of a projector, we project your subject onto the raw material and draw it off
Tufting: You choose your favorite colors and use the tufting gun to stitch the yarn into the fabric.
Glue and backing cloth: We work with 3 different adhesives and apply an anti-slip cloth.
Completion: Refine your work of art with a special razor and scissors.
Rug or tapestry: If you would rather hang up your work of art, this step is done at the end.
Your first handmade rug is ready and ready for your home!
