Discover pottery on the potter's wheel in the garden studio in Breckerfeld near Hagen — a decelerating experience for all senses.
In the historic little bakery, nestled in a wildly romantic garden with a wide view over fields and hills, you will find a quiet, inspiring place for creativity and inner arrival.
In this pottery course, you can design, sculpt and feel with your hands — freely, intuitively and without pressure to perform. You'll be amazed how much peace and satisfaction there is in working with clay.
In the garden studio, surrounded by bird sounds, flowers and old masonry, very personal works of art are created using simple techniques: cups, bowls, small figures or objects for the house and garden.
Each work is an expression of your moment, of your hands — unique and full of soul.
In addition to making pottery, a special atmosphere awaits you: time for yourself, lovely details, tea made from fragrant herbs, maybe a chat by the fireplace or a ray of sunshine on your skin.
Also perfect as a creative break for girlfriends, mothers & daughters, for a birthday, reunion or simply to do something good for yourself.
What you’ll do in the class
In the lovingly designed garden studio around the historic little bakery, a unique pottery experience awaits you — in the middle of nature, with a wide view over meadows and fields. A place to take a deep breath, create and relax.
In the basic course (49€), you will learn the sound, try centering on the potter's wheel and shape your first own workpieces — very intuitively. Whether it's a bowl, a mug or a small piece of art: I'm always by your side, accompanying you step by step and supporting you when you want.
After drying, your works will be fired by me.
If you would like to return to the advanced course later to glaze your ceramics yourself, this is possible as a second appointment (also 49€).
Alternatively, I can do the glazing for you with individual color coordination — this glaze service including materials costs 69€ (bookable during the booking process).
