Christmas pottery: Make personal gifts yourself (Munich)
Make this Christmas special! In my 2-hour ceramic taster course in Munich, you will design 2-3 handmade gifts, such as tea light holders, small bowls or Christmas pendants. Together in a small group, you will experience how to create something very personal from clay using simple techniques.
After the course, your works stay in the studio, where they dry thoroughly and go through the first fire. After that, you have the choice:
You come to a separate glazing appointment and design your pieces yourself
I will apply the glaze according to your color preferences,
Or you pick up the unglazed objects that have been burned once they have been burned.
This is how unique ceramic pieces are created — perfect as a Christmas gift or to keep for yourself.
What you’ll do in the class
Course schedule
Welcome & introduction — presentation of materials, tools and techniques.
Modelling — in about 2 hours, you will form 2-3 pieces of ceramic (e.g. tea light holder, small bowl, Christmas ornament)
Drying & first firing — Your works stay in the studio, dry and are fired in the oven.
Glazing (optional) — glaze appointment with you, glaze by me according to the color of your choice or pick up in an unglazed state.
Pick-up — after the glaze fire, you can pick up your finished gifts from the studio. This gives you very special, handmade unique items — perfect to give away or keep.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is ideal for beginners and anyone who wants to experiment creatively. No previous knowledge is necessary — I will show you the most important techniques step by step. Even if you already have experience with sound, you can implement your own ideas and get new inspiration here. Perfect for individuals, couples, groups of friends or as an original gift.
