About this class
In this lovingly designed pottery course for children in Herne, young creatives aged 6 to 12 have the opportunity to let their imagination run wild and create their own small works of art. Under expert guidance, the children learn the basics of pottery step by step and can try out different techniques in a playful way. Regardless of whether it is creating clay or experimenting with colors and patterns — children are given space to express their individual ideas and transform them into unique works of art.
The course is divided into two dates: The first session teaches the basic techniques of pottery. Here, children have the opportunity to create their first objects — be it a small vessel, a sculpture or another imaginative work of art. On the second date, the focus is on refining the works of art. The young artists can decorate their objects with glazes and thus add their own personal touch.
