Pottery class: Make your favorite ceramics
Perfectly shaped - beautiful things made by hand
Immerse yourself in the sensual and relaxing world of pottery. In this ceramics course in Leipzig, you will learn the easy-to-learn overmolding and molding techniques — two techniques that are guaranteed to produce impressive results. This is how you create your own unique ceramic pieces for your home, balcony or garden.
With my support, you will form 1-2 individual workpieces. After the scrub firing, I do the transparent glazing and glaze firing. About 4 weeks later, you can pick up your favorite finished ceramic.
The focus of this workshop is on sculpting and modelling: experience, create and enjoy the material clay with your own hands.
The course is ideal for beginners, you don't need any previous knowledge. Children aged 10 and over are welcome to participate when accompanied by an adult.
Enjoy relaxing and creative hours in which you not only create unique clay treasures, but also pamper your hands with a free scrub.
What you’ll do in the class
- You learn the basics of a fascinating craft
- I will guide you step by step
- guaranteed success: 1-2 of our own ceramics
- After a drying period of approx. 2 weeks, the first fire takes place
- I then glaze your ceramics transparently and burn them a second time
- If you want to glaze your ceramics yourself, you are welcome to do so by appointment
- When your clay treasures are ready, we will arrange a pick-up date
Who is the class suitable for?
- This course is suitable for anyone who wants to try out this great craft. No previous experience is required — anyone can join in and achieve impressive results. Children aged 10 and over are welcome to participate when accompanied by an adult.
