Class description

Short evening taster course for beginners, interested hobbyists and small groups. The short individual course is ideal for people who want to work with wood for the first time or want a small professional upgrade with hand tools or one or the other woodworking machine.

We show which materials and tools are available, try them out using specific applications and produce a simple piece of furniture.

Perfect for snuffing or gifting

How does this activity work?

It is best to meet at our workshop about 10 minutes before the start of the course.

We'll start at 18:00:

  • Brief workshop introduction
  • Materials science - the most important materials
  • Planning according to task
  • Marking and material requirements
  • cuttings
  • Manufacture of your furniture*

*) For our courses, we have tried and tested workpieces (which run out of time and can be solved by everyone). However, each participant can - depending on their ability - create their individual designs.

Who should definitely take part?

This course is ideal for beginners, hobbyists and people interested in woodworking - for anyone who wants to build their (first) piece of furniture in a professional workshop using appropriate tools and machines. Ideal for “sniffing in” and letting it be plugged in.
