At teamlieder.de, participants create their own song in just a few hours — without any previous musical knowledge.
A theme is defined together, and then creative lyrics and melodies are created. The group writes verses and choruses together, everyone contributes their ideas and content. Sometimes that means leaving your comfort zone — but always with support from the whole team. The music is composed with the support of a producer. Under guidance, participants develop rhythm elements and melodies. It's easy to create your own team song!
It is about cooperation and mutual assistance. Everyone plays an important part, just like in a band. This is how teamwork can be experienced and a real sense of belonging is created.
What you’ll do in the class
Who wants to write? Who composes the music? Who sings?
After a greeting and a brief introduction to the song composition processes, the team is divided into groups. Professional musicians and producers work with participants on the individual steps of song production: text composition, recording of rhythm elements, melodies and arrangement.
This is how your own song is created piece by piece. Each participant has the opportunity to try out every area and contribute their own ideas. At the end, the lyrics are recorded and the team song is completed.
