About this experience

Dive into the world of slow flowers and create your own flower hoop (metal hoop) — either from fresh or carefully dried flowers from our own garden. In a relaxed and inspiring courtyard atmosphere in Scheer, we will show you step by step how to artfully arrange the flowers, grasses and branches and tie them into a harmonious, long-lasting hoop. You'll learn sustainable floristry techniques, get tips on form, proportion and durability, and discover how much fun it is to work creatively with natural materials.
In between work steps, we enjoy an aperitif, selected drinks and a snack, such as a homemade cake made from the farm's own ingredients. The course is a break from everyday life — a moment in which you are connected with your hands, nature and your own creativity. In the end, you take home your unique, floral work of art — an expression of your individuality and a small piece of nature that will be with you for a long time to come.

How does this experience take place?

Experience the fascination of slow flowers right on our farm: During our hoop course, you design your own flower ring — either from fresh or dried flowers from your own farm — and dive into a creative, relaxing break.

We start together at the farm shop and continue to the slow flower field on our farm outside: You will get to know the materials, get an introduction to the slow flower philosophy and get initial inspiration for your work piece. Then it's on into the field, where we select the flowers and you can experience the variety of colors, shapes and structures live. During a field exploration, you will learn interesting facts about the plants, their special features and tips on how to combine them for your hoop.
We then toast with an aperitif, enjoy drinks and small snacks such as homemade cakes made from the farm's own ingredients and really dive into the atmosphere of our farm.

In the course itself, you will learn step by step how to tie, arrange and decorate your hoop. In between, there are snacks and drinks while you can unleash your creativity. In the end, you take home your unique, floral work of art — a long-lasting expression of your very own personality and a piece of nature that will be with you for a long time to come.
