Self-guided city rally / scavenger hunt in Cologne

Explore Cologne while playing the city rally "Mystery - Magic or spook". Solve puzzles at famous sights in the exciting story about a mystery and win the game. As soon as you book the game, we will send you all the necessary information by e-mail. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Duration: 2 to 3 hours 
• Language: English (German version is offered separately) 
• Tickets: You only need 1 ticket per group (1-6 people) and You can hold the event at your desired time. You are not tied to the time specified by the booking.
• Each group will play with 1 device. For groups of more than 6 people you can buy 2 or more tickets. 
• You can book in advance or spontaneously. 
• You can start whenever you want.

Visit the starting point in front of the historic town hall (in the old town centre), open the link from your confirmation email with your smartphone or tablet, log in with your details and start playing immediately. 

You will first be introduced to the story of the mystery: 1800 in Cologne: A disaster has happened! It was so wonderful after all! While people were blissfully slumbering at night, strange things were happening: clothes were being sewn ready, beer brewed, bread baked, horseshoes forged.... No one ever saw who performed these mysterious deeds. They were taken with relish as a matter of course. But for a few days now, the magical haunting has been over! The city is in danger of descending into chaos! Will you be able to solve the mystery?

Work in a team (2-6 people per group) to solve the case. Are there more than 6 of you? Then we recommend splitting up into several small groups, otherwise experience has shown that not everyone is well integrated into the game. You can also test which group is the fastest! 

Use our city map to puzzle your way from station to station along the story. Solve the puzzles at the most beautiful sights in Cologne and at important points and find out more about the mystery in Cologne. It is part of the game to guess the individual stations of the city rally. They are therefore not listed here. You have to look for clues at the stations to solve the puzzles. In this game, the focus is on the story and the puzzles, not on details about the historical history of the sights and the city.

Move at your own pace and take a break whenever you want. The duration is around 2 to 3 hours. The end is in the historic centre of Cologne near Roncalliplatz.
