About this experience
Back School courses aim to gently train and stretch all back-related muscles in order to effectively prevent or alleviate back pain. The focus is on various training approaches from training sciences, physiotherapy as well as functional training, core training, eccentric and isometric training. These methods support the healthy development and stabilization of the small muscles that are directly involved in spinal stabilization. It is group training for prevention and health.
Eccentric training refers to the phase of a movement in which the muscle lengthens while under stress. During back fitness classes, eccentric training can help strengthen back muscles and improve posture, which in turn reduces the risk of back pain.
