About this class

In this workshop, you will learn about the versatile material casting powder (raysin). After an introduction to materials science, you mix, dye and pour the casting compound into silicone molds of your choice. With techniques such as coloring, marbling or multi-coloured layers, your individual home decoration objects such as decorative bowls, trays, coasters, cans or candle holders are created. After hardening, you can sand your finished unique pieces and take them home straight away.

What you’ll do in the class

After a short welcome and introduction, we will show you how to use casting powder step by step. You will learn various design techniques and put them into practice directly. You then pour your desired objects, let them harden and finish them with sanding blocks. We will guide you throughout the workshop and provide you with tips and inspiration.

Who is the class suitable for?

The workshop is ideal for beginners and anyone who wants to try out casting powder. You don't need any previous knowledge — just a desire to be creative. Also perfect for groups of friends or family, creative breaks or as a special experience.
