This ramen cooking class near Vienna is a culinary evening for everyone who not only wants to eat Japanese cuisine, but really want to understand it. You will prepare gyoza, fresh ramen noodles, broths, tares and a variety of toppings together. Each person then puts together their own ramen according to their taste. The special thing about this workshop is the combination of in-depth knowledge, many handmade components and a joint menu in a relaxed atmosphere.

What you’ll do in the class

  • You start with a yuzu spritz or sake spritz and a themed snack.
  • At the beginning, you will receive an introduction to the history, components and variants of ramen.
  • You then start preparing the individual components together.
  • You make stuffed gyoza yourself.
  • You cook a broth together and also learn how to prepare pork broth.
  • You also prepare a vegetarian broth.
  • You make noodle dough and make fresh ramen noodles.
  • You cook two tars as seasoning sauces.
  • Depending on the season, prepare one or two spice oils.
  • This is accompanied by various toppings such as Chashu, Ni-Tamago, Negi, Menma and Nori.
  • When everything is ready, each person puts together their own ramen.
  • You can then enjoy the joint meal in a cozy atmosphere.
  • Finally, there is a glass of sake.
  • The workshop combines cooking, learning and enjoyment together on a level that everyone can participate in.
