What to expect from Portrait Photography: Basics — Photo Course in Hanover:
Photographing people is one of the most interesting, exciting and varied areas of photography ever: whether it's family portraits or funny lifestyle photo shoots with a friend somewhere outside! Putting people in perspective and portraying them in a characteristic, likeable, attractive... is always a nice challenge. We take the first, simple steps to good portrait photos together in my Portrait Photography: Basics workshop.
With a maximum of eight participants, I always have enough time in the Portrait Photography: Basics photo workshop to respond to individual questions and requests. (Basically, however, everyone should be familiar with how to operate their camera and how to use aperture, shutter speed and sensitivity. For real beginners, I recommend that you maybe first take the Simply Learn to Take Pictures workshop! to visit or, for example, take part in the Herrenhäuser Gardens photo walk.)
What you’ll do in the class
In this photo workshop, we will learn together & completely parkly which technical requirements (suitable focal lengths and camera settings), which design options (perspectives, light, depth of field) and which human aspects (atmosphere, “model guidance”) must be considered in portrait photography. And we're going to practice this extensively by taking pictures of each other. We learn a lot about portrait photography when we're on the other side of the camera! And this will certainly result in beautiful portrait photos from/for every participant
