Class description
The course includes up to four sessions over the span of one month, ideally one session per week. You will book your first session through gokonfetti.com, and after your initial class, you’ll coordinate directly with your instructor to arrange the remaining three sessions at times that suit you.
The workshop begins with you selecting a photo that will serve as the basis of your artwork. Using the grid drawing technique, the image will be transferred onto the canvas, ensuring accuracy and proportion. From there, you will use oil paints with a color palette inspired by the classic Italian painting tradition to bring your portrait to life. Once the portrait is complete, you’ll work on the context and background, choosing between abstract or figurative styles while experimenting with various colors and creative approaches.
Open to everyone, this workshop welcomes both beginners and experienced artists. No prior knowledge is required—just a passion for learning and creativity. By the end of the course, you’ll complete your own oil painting and gain new techniques to continue exploring your artistic potential.
