Class description
In the Plotter Basics course, we focus on finding out what you can do with this amazing device.
Of course, I'll explain the principle of the cutting plotter to you first.
However, before we get to the practical part of the course, there is some theory about the various technical terms and, of course, about the material with which we can work.
Once all questions have been clarified, I'll show you which slides you should best use and when.
The various settings are also not neglected in this course, as they are decisive for a great and clean cutting result.
If the settings are incorrect and you don't know what is important, then you will either cut the mat or the films will not be cut through correctly. This can be expensive and only leads to frustration when using the device.
After everything theoretical has been clarified, I will show you what options you can use to get the motifs into your device.
If you have your own plotter and bring it with you, then you can now try and test for yourself, enlarge and mirror motifs, combine and multiply them and, of course, finally let the plotter do its job.
If you don't have your own plotter yet, tell me directly when you register and you can use my device.
However, so that everyone can gain experience, no more than two participants should work together on my device.
After cutting, unlattice and, of course, press the motif onto a textile of your choice.
