Cologne-based author and cigar manufacturer Annette Meisl alias Ana Galana presents the second volume of her family saga “The Heritage of the Cigar Queen” at the renowned Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz (formerly the Millowitschtheater) in Cologne on May 26, 2025 at 7:30pm. A musical reading featuring vocals, piano, and live cigar roll art.
How does this experience take place?
Cologne-based author Ana Galana reads exciting sections from her new historical novel THE LEGACY OF THE CIGAR QUEEN. She is also musically supported by the charismatic Cuban singer, guitarist and percussionist NEY PORTALES and the renowned jazz pianist Nicholas von der Nahmer, who also appears as a singer and flugelhorn player. The century-old art of cigar rolling will be shown in the theatre foyer throughout the evening. An evening between literature, music and ancient crafts. Followed by a book signing session with the author.
