About this experience
Dive into the fascinating art of knife forging at our one-day blacksmithing course in Iserlohn.
In a small group of 3 to 6 participants, we offer you an intensive and unforgettable experience. The course takes place on selected Saturdays.
No previous experience is required. Our experienced course instructor will introduce you to the beginning and demonstrate blade forging. You then get on with it yourself and create your own knife. You forge the blade, grind it lightly and carry out the decisive heat treatment. The blade is hardened in oil and tempered to achieve the necessary elasticity. Finally, you dedicate yourself to the final touches.
A wooden handle completes the knife, but you can also forge a knife without a wooden handle. Decide for yourself which style best suits your ideas.
How does this experience take place?
The whole thing takes place in a traditional, rustic forge in beautiful surroundings.
During the entire course, the course instructor will provide you with advice and assistance.
Who is it suitable for
Suitable for everyone over 14 years of age. Minors must bring a letter of consent from a parent.
