Class description
Our painting afternoons for acrylic painting, drawing and upcycling offer you the perfect opportunity to develop your creative side and enjoy a relaxing, picturesque break.
These courses are suitable for both adults and young people aged 13 and over and take place every Wednesday. Whether you enjoy painting, drawing or are interested in upcycling — this open course gives you the freedom to work on your own projects as you please.
There is no fixed motif or theme, so you have the opportunity to paint motifs of your choice or try out something new. We have a few designs to choose from, you are also welcome to bring your own ideas.
With the “new shine” concept, you can also bring your own small furniture, decorative elements or everyday objects and give them a new shine with acrylic paint.
How does this activity work?
Exemplary course schedule:
Since the course is very flexible and is based on your individual interests and preferences, there is no fixed process that is the same for all participants. Here is an example of a typical painting afternoon:
Open start and material selection
- Open start: The courses have a flexible start of 30 minutes, during which you can arrive in peace and choose your materials.
- Material selection: We provide you with everything you need — acrylic paints, drawing materials, brushes, canvases and much more. You don't need to bring anything, except maybe items for the upcycling project.
Free painting or drawing
- Paint or draw of your choice: You can get straight to work on your project, whether it's an acrylic painting, a drawing or designing an upcycling project. You decide what you want to work on and our course instructor will be there to help you with that.
- Step-by-step support: If you need help, you'll get step-by-step instructions or tips on how to further develop your project. You learn at your own pace and can ask questions at any time.
Upcycling projects (optional)
- New splendor for everyday objects: If you are interested in upcycling, you can bring your own small pieces of furniture or decorative elements. With acrylic paint, you give them a new, creative look. We'll help you choose the best techniques and color combinations for your project.
Who should definitely take part?
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to paint, draw, or upcycle in a relaxed and creative environment. It is aimed at adults and young people aged 13 and over who would like to implement their own projects, be it an acrylic painting, a drawing or an upcycling project.
The course gives you the freedom to work at your own pace and let your creativity run wild. It is particularly suitable for people who are looking for a flexible and informal course that they can attend regularly or only occasionally — depending on how it fits into their schedule.
