About this class

In the midst of the idyllic nature of Fürstenberg (Havel), a creative day full of inspiration and expression awaits you. You draw and paint water, reeds, plants and animals — intuitively and freely. With various techniques such as ink, charcoal, pastel chalk, etc., you can artistically explore your environment. Experienced course instructor Silke Kirschning will guide you through three creative modules that promote conscious perception and intuitive design. Whether at the lake, in the forest or in the studio — it is the process that counts here, not the perfect result. Ideal for anyone who wants to combine art and nature.

It was already my 4th course with Silke. It was the first time I was there on this topic and I loved being able to try it out again. Silke offers many different materials so that everyone can find their way. She gives you help if you want or lets you try it out completely freely and is open to your own ideas. In addition to painting, I enjoy exchanging ideas with Silke and the other course participants and having lunch together. A course is a great opportunity for me to be able to completely lose myself in painting/drawing and leave everyday life behind me for a moment.

Dear Madelaine, how nice that you enjoyed this workshop so much again. I am also always happy when we work together creatively and feel so comfortable doing so. Kind regards, Silke

Last Sunday I took part in the course “Painting at the Lake: Water & Animals in Fürstenberg/Havel”. It wasn't possible to paint outside due to a stormy and rainy day, but I found a great place to draw in the tower of the “Haus am See”. From here I had a wonderful view of the lake, the animals, the plants and the “general atmosphere around the water.” The “Workshops at the Lake” are a great opportunity to switch off from everyday life and dedicate yourself to creativity. The lake offers a wonderful backdrop and I really enjoyed the day. What I also particularly liked is that I was able to try out different materials for drawing. The exchange with Silke and with other course participants was very inspiring and exciting.
