An introduction to watercolor painting workshop. Whether you are a beginner or with some previous knowledge, everyone is welcome and will be introduced to the fascinating possibilities of watercolor painting in easy-to-understand steps!
What is the process?
We cover the following topics:
1. Introduction to the material and particularity of watercolor painting
2. The most important techniques such as glazing, washing and wetting in wet techniques
3. Assign and apply techniques to appropriate motifs
All participants receive an illustrated handout with instructions.
How does this activity work?
We start with the basic techniques of watercolor painting and practice the procedures in various exercises. We then look at specific motifs and apply the techniques. Learn how to use the special features of watercolor to create fascinating pictures.
Who should definitely take part?
The course is suitable for beginners as well as advanced learners.
Details to remember
What to bring?
- Watercolor paper from 200 g, better 300 g
- watercolors, primary colors red, yellow and blue or watercolor box with any number of colors
- 2 watercolor brushes, medium (e.g. size 4) and large (e.g. size 7)
