Team event in Salzburg: 2 days of clay oven construction

As a team event, build your own, individually designed clay oven, which will soon give off the scent of crunchy wood-fired bread and delicious pizza. 

Two wonderful days:

After we have clarified the most important things before the workshop, we will start the workshop right away:

Day 1 - approx. 7 hours

Brief theoretical input on clay and clay ovens. Joint planning. Preparation of materials Construction of floor insulation. Building the shape and interior.

Day 2 - approx. 5 hours

Preparation of materials Construction of the oven insulation. Construction of the furnace mouth. Briefing on oven use and care. 

What are the prerequisites for the course?

• You are 5 to 10 people who would like to set up something together
• You have enough space for a 1.10 x 1.10 meter oven in the garden, courtyard or anywhere else.
• You would like to own your own durable outdoor oven.
• You are prepared to wall up (leave) a small base on which the oven will stand.
• You will be asked to put a roof over the clay oven before or after the seminar.

What else is there to consider

• Since the weather is decisive, only the months of May - September are suitable
• Construction materials are NOT included in the price. Immediately after booking, you will receive a complete list of materials for your own procurement - if you have any questions about the materials, you can contact me; the materials can be provided for an additional charge.
