About this class
A special team event in nature awaits you! Because there are numerous edible wild plants here, which open up forests and meadows for us in a whole new way. In addition to a full collection basket, new knowledge and wild snacks, participants take home relaxation and focus.
After a guided tour of herbs, teams collect the main ingredients for the wild snack: goutweed, stinging nettles, colorful blossoms of violets, dandelions, etc., as well as wild rose hip fruits in autumn. An experienced herbal teacher guides you through nature and explains botanical aspects, distinctive features and practical uses.
During the workshop, two delicious snacks are prepared and everyone takes home another product, such as wild herb salt.
Course location: Cologne, Kerpen or Bergisches Land. By appointment.
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to the topic of wild herbs
- Professional instructions for identifying and collecting wild plants during a walk on Laß Türnich
- Presentation of at least 7 different wild plants and their use
- Collecting edible wild plants together at suitable locations
- Preparation of 2 wild snacks
- Preparation of 1 product to take away (e.g. herbal salt, tincture)
- Tasting and sharing experiences together

The course is aimed at inquisitive teams and anyone who likes to be in nature and would like to discover wild herbs. With us, you will learn how to process wild herbs into delicious snacks and useful products and thus integrate them into your everyday life.
