About this class
During the Acro Yoga trial lesson at the Center of Gravity in Hamburg, you can expect a first, exciting insight into the art of Acro Yoga. Here you will learn the basic elements in a small, open group: from community acrobatics to “Listen & Fly” to meditation. Together with experienced teacher Ralph, you will try out the first figures and positions and discover your balance. The quiet meditation sessions at the end let you relax and give you the opportunity to center yourself internally. The course is open to all ages and fitness levels — just drop by and try it out!
What you’ll do in the class
In the acrobatics part, which takes up the majority of the class, you get to know the various roles (base, flyer, spotter) and try out the first positions together with the group. The small group size allows long-time Acro Yoga Teacher Ralph to respond individually to the needs and level of experience of all participants. Quick initial learning successes make you want more!
At the end of the class, we will calm down again together. The Listen & Fly element combines community acrobatics and meditation in a unique way. The flyer is invited here by the base to relax and unwind.
In a short final meditation, we finally focus on our inner self and become silent.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is suitable for anyone who wants to try something new. Age and fitness level do not matter!
