Class description

We will be inspired by Levante cuisine for this cooking class.

Levante cuisine or Levantine-inspired cuisine is the term used to describe dishes from countries on the Eastern Mediterranean, such as from Lebanon, Israel and the southern regions of Turkey, and it has quite rightly many fans. Fresh products paired with intensive spices make the dishes aromatic delights. And by the way, it is a wonderful source of many important nutrients that are beneficial to a healthy diet.

We will therefore not only focus on preparation, tasting, social gatherings, but also nutritional knowledge with a focus on proteins and iron.

How does this activity work?

Our vegan 3-course Levante menu:

  • Black humus with pita and pomegranate seeds
  • Roasted cauliflower on tahini level, with tomato dressing, pistachios and bulgur
  • Pistachio cream tart with raspberries

In addition, I will of course expect you to start with a small snack so that no one has to cook hungry.

You'll be cooking in a team, which means you'll prepare the dishes together. You will still be aware of everything and can exchange ideas and support yourself within your team.

 

Who should definitely take part?

This cooking class is suitable for anyone who is open to vegan cuisine and is looking forward to a friendly exchange and lots of inspiration at home. No previous experience is required. I will guide and explain all steps.
